I am so excited to say that as of the 9th December 2017, we no longer distinguish between same sex marriage and heterosexual marriage, so marriage equality means that all LGBTQI couples can now be legally married under The Marriage Act 1961. This was a great day in Australian history and one that I am so proud to be a part of as an Australian celebrant.
Unfortunately updating my website is going to take almost as long as it took to pass marriage equality ….. ok so maybe not as long ……. however it is going to take a little while, so in the mean time, please follow all the information provided under the “Weddings” page or give me a call to discuss your upcoming marriage.
Commitment ceremonies may also be used by heterosexual couples who simply want to express their commitment to each other without the legalities associated with a wedding ceremony. If this is the case, I will work with you to create a ceremony that reflects you both as a couple as well as individuals and I will help you to create a beautiful ceremony that tells your story and that celebrates your relationship.
To discuss your commitment ceremony further then feel free to give me a call on 0402 848 561 or click here to send me an email.
