“Kath was asked to be our celebrant just a few weeks before our wedding due to the celebrant (our friend) that we had booked having to cancel because of a family tragedy. From the minute we met Kath she was focused on telling our story and making our ceremony exactly like the picture we had in our head. In the lead up to our wedding Kath was relaxed and professional, which helped keep us calm.
Kath ensured that we had a rehearsal. This was definitely a great thing to do because on the day we weren’t thinking about where we had to go or when we had to speak. Matt and I could focus on each other and the vows we were making to one another.
On 11/11/11 Matt and I were married at Coorabell. Our wedding ceremony was just what we told Kath we wanted; intimate and romantic. As I began walking down the aisle it started to rain. Kath started the ceremony with a smile on her face and a calmness in her voice. From then on the rain didn’t matter. Our ceremony was a celebration and Kath set the mood.
Kath was sincere when she spoke and made our story feel special. The ceremony was relaxed and full of stories of how we met, what we loved about each other and how special our family and friends were to us. Kath had our guests laughing and crying throughout the ceremony.
At the end of the ceremony Kath had a beautiful album ready for us, with our whole ceremony detailed inside. This is something that we will treasure forever and we are so thankful for Kath’s kindness.
Our guests told us that our ceremony was ‘beautiful’ and ‘the best they had been to’. We were told many times that ‘the rain didn’t matter’ and ‘that it suited the romance of our ceremony’.
All in all, Kath was professional, extremely organised, and made our ceremony special. She was definitely the best person to start us off on our journey of marriage together.” xox
